Sharks can be just so, so nice
How do we define guts, or perhaps disregard for one's limbs? I found this rather remarkable, and, BTW, unless there's a guy named Cristina, that's a woman down there. It's 3 minutes, and you have to catch the finale. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=WK2LpUoqX6A&vq=medium

WOW. Actually, that seems to visually match every conversation I have with Mooch. It takes about three minutes to calm him down and send him on his way.

I sensed you were going to ask that. Sadly I did not have a prepared answer. I'll get back to you on that.

I'd wear chain mail under shreddies but I'm petrified by the thought of a preparatory wax job. Don't you guys worry about rust stains?

mike_mccue We are omnivores by design... Maybe to the extent of eating insects and grubs. But I don't think human teeth, at our current state of evolution, are much good at chewing raw meat. It's been a long time since I studied biology so I'm a bit wooly on this, but I'm assuming our ancestors must have had teeth much better adapted to the task. The teeth we have now are perfect for cooked meat though. And I'd have thought our alimentary system would have a hard job digesting raw meat, if indeed it didn't kill us. Interesting stuff though - it would be facinating to follow pre-human and human jaw and teeth development and digestive biochemistry through the periods before and after the discovery of fire and its use for cooking (and other methods of making meat more tender such as curing and smoking).

Do you even think that video is real? She had dead fish she was feeding those sharks, don't you think that would have sent them in to some kind of feeding frenzy and they would have attacked her?

Do you not have a sushi bar on every corner in Britain? They are almost as common as Macdonalds over here. Lot's of raw beef treats on the counter. I really don't know much about it... honestly... it's been so long for me I hardly remember anything about meat and the Sushi bars became popular after I moved into all veg-E all the time. all the best, mike
