She's a beaut

I was at Guitar Center today....yeah I know we can get in trouble going there and I did ;-P I am a smaller guy and I wanted something less than a full dreadnought. I was eyeing the Mini Taylor and then I spotted a Martin. Same price as the Taylor, similar category, sounded just as sweet and has an included pickup which doesn't appear to need a battery. The body of this guitar was slightly larger than the Taylor but it was still the right size for me. It's a MIM Martin but looks nice and was  not expensive.

I am impressed with the quality and sound of this guitar. I tracked an old familiar  song with it I knew from way back but only learned it on guitar today...still learning it...the journey is fun.

Love the OO size over a dreadnought and Martin is still my favorite voiced acoustic.

    Congrats on your new guitar.

There is one very similar staying here at my place this month. We have a set of "hi strings" for "Nashville tuning" on it.

The guitar is nice and light and it has real sweet tone.

I hope you enjoy yours for years and years.

    best regards,
    mike

Thanks guys. I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner, kinda busy here.

I have never owned a "nice" acoustic guitar. I'm still wondering if there's something wrong with me ( besides the usual ). I haven't tuned this guitar in three weeks, maybe a quarter turn on the  high E string. I'm not used to this. My other acoustic guitar needs tuned every time I pick it up. Even if I didn't play it I needed to tune it. Something must be wrong.

I love the smooth rounded corners. The tone couldn't get much better, even sounds good with my playing. I took it out to play a few weeks ago and used the pickup in it into the house mixer from a cheap D-box and it was even ok then. I am sorry I didn't look for a guitar like this sooner.
