Shift + Drag is broken in X1d
I love Sonar X1 (in fact I was going to make a post about how much I love it right before X1d came out). I've had very few complaints throughout all of it's iterations but this bug (or intentional change?) makes the software completely unusable for large projects.
In all versions of Sonar up to this one, while in track view, you could drag to select multiple clips and then while holding shift, drag elsewhere to add more clips to the selection. You could continue to do this until you had the complete selection you want (avoiding the clips you don't want to move, delete, etc.)
Now, whenever you start a new drag while holding shift, it deselects your previous selection. I guess the shift key isn't even doing anything? I understand that you can use ctrl to add single clips, but when you have to copy and paste an entire chorus across 120 tracks where just the vocal tracks alone are dozens of clips, it's just not feasible. This change will force me to stay at X1c for the types of projects I do, and if it's not changed back to how it used to be, I'll have to change sequencers (which I really don't want to do).
*Please, please, please change shift-drag/click back to the way it used to be.*
(Or at least give the user the choice.)
Besides this, the update has been awesome so far.
