Shine (Remixed with LimiterNo.6)
https://soundcloud.com/clintmartin/shine-1Same song new mix. This one seems better. A little more sheen on the high end and a few more dbs with less of a compressed sound I think. As a reminder the first mix was with the Pro channel only except for a bit of TB Barricade. I think the Linear phase eq and clipper are what makes the T-racks mix a bit better. Any opinions are greatly appreciated. Replaced with the new LimiterNo.6 version.

https://soundcloud.com/clintmartin/shine-1Hopefully this is the last mix. I went back to the original mix, but used the quad curve to raise the high end a bit and then finished it off with LimiterNo.6 by Vladgsound.

The link did not work for me however I went to your SC page and a/b'ed the two track called shine. The newest track has a much more open airy sound. I like you guitar tone reminds of someone but now my fur has started growing into my brain I cannot recall who. Thanks sharing nice stuff

Hey Clint I like this new MIX , great song and sound ! Hey are you playing your guitar through a floor AMP and recording with Mics ? I would imagine that would be the best way to record any electric or acoustic guitar , I have a new small Amp for practice a 20 watt VOX amp . I'm using Guitar Rig 4 to get my guitar sound & effects , as a beginner guitar player theres alot to learn about Amp , effects and the guitar itself so hope you don't mine the questions . Hey keepem coming - James

I'm using Amplitube for guitar and bass on this track. Sometimes I will use my Line 6 Hd500, but I like Amplitube better for the fender tones. I don't have the space to do amps right. To tell you the truth...I don't miss them at all.

Thats pretty cool Clint , I checked out Amplitube 3 on SweetWater and watched the video on that $199.00 software AMP simulator product . Thats one kickass product compaired to what I'm using Guitar Rig 4 , What I use was included with the purchase of my new electric guitar but what your using is far better in sound & product . As soon as I can afford the two hundred bucks I will put in my order with SweetWater , I think its worth going after . Thanks - James

If I were you I would try this link first. http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/amplitubecs/ It's free and if your online you can try out anything they have to offer. This is what I have. After I decided I liked it better than Guitar rig or TH2, I bought the Fender collection, Ampeg collection and a few mics and effects through Custom shop. I really think that all of these programs are pretty impressive. Guitar rig 5 and TH2 are both great. I just prefer Fender stuff and Amplitube does Fender perfectly fine for me. Ik have sales pretty often so I would look out for those. Fender and Ampeg might be on sale now. Look in the software forum and it should say somewhere.

This song and production are just fantastic. Your mix is clear, and your playing is superb. This should be heard by a lot of people. I'll be listening a few more times, myself.
