Shop 'closed' on Sunday?

I bought a Sonar X2 upgrade this afternoon. After some four hours I still see no serial in my account (X2 is on the list of registered products and I did receive a mail about the purchase) and the downloadlink shows a download key but no download links. Is this because it's Sunday and will everything be processed on Monday? I was hoping to install X2 today but with this pace it's not going to happen.

Sonar 8.5 PE, Edirol FA-66, Behringer C-1. All instruments in my songs are VSTi's.

Ah, ok, so I am not the only one. In that case I will be patient. Although apparently that other guy DID get the download...! I have neither. Well, if I still don't have anything within 24 hours, I will contact CW.

Anyone here who knows where the CW offices are located? US east coast, west coast? Depending on their location I will have to have a bit more patience or not. ;) I live in Europe so it's already day for a looooooong time but I still don't have a downloadlink and serials...

The last few times I bought things they sent the serials  in emails to my email address I registered with. So it was different from the one I use most now.

I don't recall if it was a weekend or not when I bought the packs..... but they were actually there in a matter of minutes ... the DL links and the serials and the authentication numbers as well..... IIRC..

There isn't mail in the spam folder (at least not from CW) and besides: the downloadlink and serial should be available in My account on the CW-site too, so even without mail I should have access to everything I need.

Anyway, it's about time to open the offices in Boston (thanks SteveC!), I think, so I am going to give at half an hour and then I will send a mail. ;)

    Sunday: purchased X2
Monday: received serials in My account (after mailing CW) but no downloads
    Tuesday: still no downloads

    (&$@&)*@&#)(*@^$@$@$@@()*&)(*&)(*&!!!!!!!

Finally got around to installing Sonar X2. Took quite a while before everything was unpacked but at last, the installer started. Only to find out the serial is WRONG!!!

Now this is getting a bit annoying... And of course it's the weekend so I will probably have to wait until Monday again. &**($^@*&^#@&@ Last Sunday was already a bit ruined by all this and so was last week. And now I was all ready to get going and then this happens. Hopefully this isn't going to take yet another week!

Well, I just send another mail to CW... To be continued yet again...

Did you make sure to run the installer as Administrator?  Not just an account with admin privileges, you have to actually right-click on the install and run as administrator.

I know that Dim Pro won't like a reg code if you don't do this, and it may hold true for Sonar itself.

I always install any of these programs with Run as Administrator, to make sure all privileges are allowed.

I cannot guarantee it's success, but it is worth a try.

Copy/paste the serial from your cakewalk account directly into the installer, to verify for sure.

I've done that repeatedly, of course.  But I also found out that action usually was taken after me posting about it here, so it definitely does help to post on the forum.

I just checked and everything works now! Sonar X2 is installing as I type! Which btw is odd because as far as I can tell the numbers are the same and I haven't had a reply yet to my mail so I don't know why it's suddenly working now...! But I couldn't care less: I am very happy I passed the serialscreen now! So all seems fine now!
