Shortcut to split tracks?

Hi All. Is there a shortcut to split a track without having the dialog box come up and having to select "split at time" or split at selection"?

    The "s" key, I believe.

    s will split it at the now time.

    If you want to split out a section from a larger clip, rather than puting the now time at the front, using "s" then puting at the end and then "s" again.

    Put yourself in Scissor mode ("c"), hold down ALT and click/drag across the larger clip, marking the area of the smaller clip you want sep'd. When you let go, this will automatically snip on both ends.

    Ah, yes, excellent. "Scissor Mode" is what I was looking for. Thank you both.

    Also, in looking around I found this thread which has a link to some excellent .pdf docs for all (or at least most of) the Sonar shortcuts.
