Should I Considering Dithering For Different Formats?
I understand the need for dithering when changing resolution and bit rate. However, is there any need for dithering when exporting to a an extension such as a Wave or AIFF file?

When you are exporting, are you changing changing resolution (Bit depth) and bit rate (Sample rate)?
best regards,

Sorry, I should have better defined my situation. I am exporting for mastering. I recorded at 96k - 24 bit. I am exporting to a Wave file also 96k - 24 bit.

Then I think most people will suggest that you should not dither.
Wait until the step where you convert the 24bit files down to 16.

No, in that situation (as Mike suggested), don't dither.
