Should I resample 44.1 for burnng a master disc?

Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a sticky.

I recorded a few songs for a friend, and now she wants to get it professionally mastered.

I wasn't counting on this, and since I was lazy for processing and disk space, I recorded her at 44/16 =\

Now, some things (synth stuff) were done in Reason, which I can re-export at a higher sample rate . . . But the vocals and mic'd tracks are stuck at 44/16, and resampling would just be an exercise in interpolation . . . right?

So my question is, is it worth the effort to re-export what I can and resample the rest at the proper sample rate for mastering, or will she be fine getting a 44/16 disc mastered?

I don't know a lot about the logistics of mastering, so I'm hoping someone with a bit more know-how could point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance,

Rich

No. You'd just be adding an additional step to the process.

Congrats on making something good enough she's interested in mastering it! Next time, stick with 24 bit/44.1. You'll be better off in the long run.
