Should I upgrade to Rapture Pro: Questions

I am considering upgrading to Rapture Pro, and to that end, I have some questions. In my present installation of Rapture and DP, registry entries have been modified so that I could install the sample files at a specific desired location.

1) Will my existing Rapture and DP installations remain intact after the installation of Rapture Pro?
2) Will the installation of Rapture Pro interfere with existing registry entries for existing Rapture & DP installations?
3) Will the installation of Rapture Pro "find" existing DP and Rapture libraries even if they are at custom locations?
4) Can Rapture Pro XY pads and vector mixer be controlled by Rapture Pro envelopes? How can the XY and vector mixer be controlled?
5) Using Command Center, can Rapture Pro and resources be installed at custom locations?

Thanks to anyone who can answer my lengthy questions.

I was hoping that someone could answer these questions in time for me to take advantage of the sale before it ends later today.

As of today there are about 19000 programs in my RPro folder. I cannot say how many I have tried. That said:

My existing DPro and Rapture seem untouched and still work.

The registry changes and directory junctions I created for DPro and Rapture seemed to work OK in RPro.

There are envelope entries for X1, Y1, XY Acceleration 1, X2, Y2, XY Acceleration 2, Vector Mixer X, Vector Mixer Y and Vector Mixer Inertia.

Both Command Center and the RPro installer have prompts to place parts of the install in different locations. I elected to take all defaults. Even if I were planning on relocating data, I would still probably take all defaults and handle the relocation my way.

By "envelope entries," do you mean that the envelopes are sources for the pad and vector mixer destinations, or that the pad and vector mixer modulation sources for the pad and vector mixer?

    thanks again

X1, Y1, XY Acceleration 1, X2, Y2, XY Acceleration 2, Vector Mixer X, Vector Mixer Y and Vector Mixer Inertia are exposed variables in RPro in the automation drop down of a track.

CCC allowed me to specify the location of the multisamples with downloading/installing, which was nice, but the choice of where to locate the program content was very limited. I would like to move the program file database to another location, but I can't find an entry in the registry that defined the location of the program files.

How can I locate the program files at the desired location so that the browser can see them?

One way is to use symbolic links to fool RPro into thinking the programs are where it wants them when they're really somewhere else.  This method will survive an RPro update whereas if you edit the registry you'll have to redo it after an update (and it gets tiresome in the long run).  I just wish Cakewalk would let us put things where we want by asking during installation.  Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't, sometimes only partially.
