Should I upgrade to izotope's RX 2?

It's only $299.

Is that better deal than X1cExpander?

I just got the mail too.

    Are you kidding?

$999 for the advanced version, $200 off to go pro.

    That's a no-brainer shirley.

In fact he'll do anything to get out of paying his transaction fees to me.

I think everyone knows wild elephants couldn't drag you away from the buy it now button when they announce it for sale. I predict a big shiny knob in your X1 strip in the near future....no? Yea, you'll be getting RX2 and many others as well. I don't have RX2 but I have RX1 and find it pretty much worthless, seems to be geared more for repairing audio. I don't know if it's something you'll really have much use for unless your remixing an old song that has crackles or hiss in a track that can't just be done over. Not something that's going to be useful in a mix that was recorded well IMO.

K, I'll pretend you really have the power to resist if you like ;) Yes that's what I would do, I would ask Danny though, I think I read where he used RX2 with good results on something, I just can't remember. There could be more modules in RX2 than RX1 so you may want to look into it further.
