Should VS-700 users upgrade to Sonar X3 ?

Just wondering if I should buy it or not, if it's the end of the line for me. If it doesn't support the VS-700 I most likely won't buy it, as my pro-mance with Cakewalk Sonar entirely includes my 700 setup.

Dear administrators, will X3 support the VS-700 ?

Were u not here always saying everything is alright and cakewalk and roland got our backs?
You don't sound so sure anymore, but if you are yes jump in and let us know.

I looked through the email and not one word about any type of control (externally) and most def anything VS is not mentioned.

I just emailed them and asked if X3 is compatible with the VS700 system. I don't why they would leave it out. As usual there's liable to be some bugs in it with X3.

Everything is alright and cakewalk did have our backs so far, they delivered X2a didn't they?

I don't need X3 to have a complete working great system in the VS-700.

The question I was asking was will X3 support the VS-700, and if it doesn't, then oh well, no biggie, it's just that they won't be getting more money from me, unless we fast forward a few years and they develop a new combo system concept, as I would have no use to upgrade to X3.

That still won't erase the fact that VS-700 is a wonderful system presently, and I won't be selling mine unless hell freezes over.

X2 is enough for me to keep this system, the only way I could even imagine selling the VS 700 is if Tascam or Roland made a better looking board with a computer screen built in the board itself.
