I noticed a hint of batsbrew in that.  Nice touch.  Enjoyed it.

The opening reminds me of something I used to love back in the '60's. I think it was called "Spooky"?

Anyway, you've got a really good song here, nevermind my associations. Really enjoyed the listen and I think your performances and overall arrangement are fantastic. Very professionally done.

I liked this very much. Excellent guitar and great overall production.
It seemed like another vocalist came in just before 3:00 but it just sounded that way due to different recording environment.

    Dan,
...just googled "spooky 60's". Yeah, I've heard this song. The opening is based on 2 chords  as well, indeed ; )
Thank you for the compliment on the song !

    Steen,
Thanks, for your comment on the arrangement! It was more fun than work, actually : )

    Daryl,
Thanks, mate! really appreciated ! (... "overthinking" is playing while I'm typing...)

    Bjorn,
    Thanks for your comment!
Very well observed! I've recorded the vocals of that section on a different day :D

Thank you very much again for listening and your positive feedback, gentlemen! It is highly appreciated.

batsbrew is a composer/player of remarkable ability that posts songs here. :D:D What sounds familiar are the parallel fourths? harmonies? in the voices. It's an ultra cool sound.

    Thanks, Lynn !
I always use reference tracks lately, even if it hurts. It helped a lot. ... I also mix in low volume and check back on a single Behritone speaker in mono every now and then.

    oh, you meant t h a t bats brew ; ) Yeah brilliant stuff!
For the BVs, I usually figure out and record the lower harmonies first and than add the obvious high third on top of the lead vox. That's my approach... nothing special really, I think...

Wow. Very good, i like it alot! :)

    My 2 cents:
    1. vocals could be a little bit louder & more punchy.
    2. drums could use some kind of boost.

But that is just fine tune and tweaking, its brilliant as it is.

    Daniel,
Really nice job.  Radio ready for sure.  Love the verse with the Rhodes or electric keys.  Love the U-2 vibe at 1:05.  I'm a bass player so I like how that sits too.

    John,
thanks for your comment : ) !  ...I had something like the interlude at 1:05 for the intro first, but the drop into the 1st verse was too drastic so I've changed it to what it is now...

Daniel, this sounds fabulous! Kick and snare explode, guitars are played perfectly and I love your voice, especially on the verses, as the quieter singing is more expressive.

Noisy - straight from the gut - wow. This is one excellent tune. You're a killer player and the vocals on this are the real thing - man I love this.

Hi guys, sorry for my late reply on your feedback...

    Markno,
Thanks for the listen, glad you like the mix !

    Øyvind,
the guitars were all done with NI GuitarRig 5 and TH3. It's what I have. I don't have an amp here at home... The neighbors, you know... But I think it does the job. I'm happy you like it :)

    Larry,
Thanks! I'm using the Steven Slate drum sampler here. Got it when it was on sale. It turned into my favorite.
Yeah, in the choruses I really had to go for it. It was almost out of my vocal range. The verses were relaxed, therefore more room for expression.

    Synkroton,
Thank's for the positive feedback! I appreciate it :)

    Mark,
Thanks a lot for the compliment!
I'm trying to get the most out of my limitations...

Thank you very much again for listening and your kind comments, gentlemen! It is truly appreciated.

    Best regards,
    Daniel
