No problems Larry :)

At least you have some kind of answer and I hope they look into it in a favorable way!

Placed Bias Amp Pro in my cart this morning and, lo and behold, the price
was $79!!!  BUT, I still have not heard back from anyone at Positive Grid.
So, had I NOT checked MYSELF, I STILL would not KNOW that the problem
has been fixed.  I am of the opinion that their "Customer Service" is leaving a LOT to be
desired.  This whole thing is kind of showing me that I may want to steer
clear of PG if their support network is REALLY this bad.

Had it not been for ZT emailing the person who contacted HIM, I would probably
STILL not know ANYTHING!  That's a pretty piss poor Customer Service & Support
statement for the company!

That's pretty poor indeed Larry. Probably due to a lack of staff and a very busy time due to the sales.

I'm very happy with BiasFX Pro and also running the free version of Bias Amp 2. I will probably wait until the next sales to grab the Pro/Elite version of that as it's now a new financial month and other things are beckoning ;)

just have to stop checking in on this deal section long enough to pluck a few strings.

Yep!!

I didn't really get much last year, and wasn't expecting much this year either. But the dealers came around and did much better this year than last year I think. So with that I was able to acquire:

EZK Strings - $30
EZK Hip Hop Midi - Free
EZK Cinematic Grand - Free!!
EZD2 Midi Paks 2 -$20
EZD2  Pop! EZx - $19
Mercuriall ReAxis - $45
Kuassa Amp 1 - $14
IK Toal Studio Max Crossgrade - $245
Neutron Elements - Free
Plugin Alliance Phils' Cascade - $24
Plugin Alliance Engl & Chandler amps - $8
Jamstix 4 Mini Paks - $49

The more plugins and music apps I get, the less I'm inclined to spend on new acquisitions. And the more of a certain type of plug I have, the less I'm willing to spend on similar items. The key words for me are "bang for the buck". Having said that, around this BF I got the following items:

PA Chandler GAV19T    $14
Presonus Studio One 4 upg    $62
Mastering the Mix REFERENCE    $42
GM Bassalicious 2    $20
Puremagnetik Retro Computers    $10
Embertone Walker 1955 Concert D Lite     $10

I wish I could get the Live 10 upgrade but no deals there. Also I considered getting the upgrade to Arturia's latest V Collection but instead of getting only 4 new synths I opted to upgrade my Studio One DAW to the latest version and get the excellent MtM REFERENCE app and try to improve my mixes (as I said... bang for the buck).

I'm less economic regarding HW though. I couldn't resist and got the Roland Bitrazer and Scooper eurorack modules to complete my AIRA FX set. And last month I got a new Behringer Neutron semi-modular synth. Yes... if UAD is a rabbit hole... I guess this eurorack modular thing can potentially be a larger one.

Also (and in a completely unexpected way) I got a slightly beaten Sony DPS-V77 audio processor for 93 bucks!!! There are a couple of knobs missing and the display is not entirely functional but... IT's WORKING!!! THIS I consider my Christmas gift this year.

In the beginning there was the "MASCHINE"
the survival and the organization of the planet depend upon the "MASCHINE"
the future and the past depend upon the "MASCHINE"... the past?
but who wanted the "MASCHINE" ?

After recently realising that I had purchased and activated both Sandman Pro and Abbey Roads TG Mastering Chain and then gone and completely forgot that I had them, I decided I was only going to buy something if I absolutely needed/longed for it. So TDR Kotelnikov was the only purchase for Black Friday, as that comp adds some impressive sauce on electronic material. But yeah it was weird scrolling in my browser and seeing Sandman and thinking "oh I must have accidentally downloaded it to demo" then realised, nope I own it. And hang on did the plugin scanner just say TG mastering chain, what the hell is TG mastering chain? Oh I own that too, hmmmm?

Should add that I bought Abbey Road Chambers for $22 and added it to TG Mastering Chain which I had bought for $25 but not registered in the hope of a spend over $50 offer and because I haven't needed it since I bought it. Registered both plugins on the last day of the offer and got an email for the freebie and chose Abbey Road Plates. So got Abbey Road Chambers, Plates and TG Mastering Chain for $47 which I thought was nice.

And this morning couldn't resist and bought Melodyne Essential to Assistant and Little Microshift for $53 for both.

So it wasn't technically a BF sale, but I was on the fence between S-Gear and Bias BF Week deals this week.  Went with Bias and then saw S-Gear on sale on KVR for $50 yesterday.  Got it.  I hope the 3.0 release brings in some of the tones I was looking for in Bias.

The two deals I did so far this season was the Melodyne upgrade to assistant from essentials for $49  bucks .
Then I bumped up my Bias amp 2 LE to Pro ...
That one I did in 2 stages ...they offered me a good price for standard a while back . then I bit on the BF deal ...

MTurboDelay is probably the winner for me.  In addition to being highly discounted, its something that I am finding more useful than I expected.

This fred is going down the tubes, man! All Mesh got was undershreddies on Black Friday. So him and Zargg are officially "past gas". (It's not the smell it's the burning in my eyes). Fleer is having a conversation in French. With a French guy. WHAAAAAAAT?  Mesh, where the shreddies for personal use or for your side business?  For those that don't know, Mesh sells used undershreddies out of the back of a '77 AMC Gremlin on the weekend. Decent money but no repeat customers.
