Show velocity GREYED OUT

Hi Everyone ,
 
In PRV under the notes tab , my show velocity is ticked but it is greyed out , and at the bottom of PRV there is no velocity and theres no midi type , if anyone can point out why because i am stumped.Thanks In Advance

    I believe this means the velocity is already being shown, and also being hidden, if that makes sense?    Perhaps the controller pane is minimized, or you've selected hide controller pane.

    you know whats silly is in the VIEW> Show/Hide COntroller pane ,it was selected and highligted blue ,so i am not sure why i vanished if that's got the blue tick , AnyWAY i unclicked it then clicked it again and wallaha controller pane in my , appeared
