I turned to my old man the other day and said I don't want to move up the body property ladder.

Worse still is your partner inherits her mums, which is similar to what she has now but with a few unsightly extensions that you never granted planning permission for and you wish you could obtain a court order to force them to be torn down.

And don't even attempt to get into the conservatory. That's out of bounds.

On a side note, there's that terrible moment when you have a stick which has been used to stir white paint and all of a sudden you're presented with a pot of coloured paint. Do you dip the white end in it? That may ruin it for next time you want to stir white paint. Do you turn the stick around and use the other end for coloured paint? Should you get another stick and have two sticks. There are no easy answers.
