Sidechain Compressor

Hey guys, thanks in advance for taking the time to read my question. I want to put a compressor on two pad tracks and sidechain them to my snare track so that they make room9i.e. get compressed) for the snare hit. How would I go about doing that using Sonitus:Compressor(i.e. routing what not)?

    Send the pads to a bus. Place the Sonitus compressor (you might consider using the Sonitus Gate as an alternative) on the bus.  Insert a send on the snare track and route it to the Sonitus Compressor (or gate) sidechain, which will show up on the dropdown list of aux-send destinations. Adjust the threshold, attack and release to taste.
