    cool. I still have a DK 600 - and expander.  Never got to play w/ the string synth.  Can't wait.

    Those look like fun! Can the expander be used to increase the polyphony of the DK600?
    Or is it just the same synth engine in module format?

    Gawd, it has been so long.  It is basically another Siel but I think you can use it to expand the polyphony.  You can load in changed patches - if you have an old cassette deck laying about.  I usually used as a separate midi track and would lay it down at once w/ the keyboard version to a reel to reel.
