Silence In The End

I completely forgot I had a Soundclick page from years back....

This recording took years to complete, and it was finished around 2001. There is a guest vocalist - Tina Colon. I played everything else.

Would love to remake this tune. but I hardly have the time.

Enjoy!

    Nice tune.

The singer sounds good. Nice full sounding mix.

I would bring the vocals up a bit. And the vocalist sounded like there was a bunch of the room sound in the mix too..... or FX.

You said it's an older song. 10 yrs.... do you still have the tracks to be able to work on the mix any?  All my stuff from that time frame is gone..... thankfully. I actually do have a few of the backup disks I made.... but I consider them gone.....

Nice song and a good job on the recording.

You have a sharp ear. We recorded this in my photo studio, which was 20x30, so there was plenty of natural reverb. The original recording was made on a digital 8-track (Roland, I think). No room for playing with it. In fact some of my guitar fills were slipped in where she wasn't singing by using her vocal tracks.

I dug this thing out and played the drums new a couple of years ago, but minus any click track if there ever was one. Timing is tough. I do intend to work on this song again, but probably in a completely new format.

    Thanks!

Great track. This sounds really good and the vox works really well.

Very well done! I look forward to when you re-do it.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.
