Silent Buses Detected - Eventually Shows Up on Every Project

Can anyone tell me why every project I create eventually shows a warning "Silent Buses Detected"?  It then lists a bunch of buses from my project, all of which ARE NOT SILENT and are working 100% correctly.  As time goes on more and more silent busses are detected and the list gets longer.

So far I have ignored this, but it drives me nuts and makes no sense.

Thanks

You can disable the silent busses warning in the Cakewalk. ini
    file.
"1" (On).  Changing this to "0" will disable the silent bus warning dialog.

    To change:

       1. Click Options | Initialization File
       2. In the Option field type: WarnSilentBuses
       3. In the Value field type either "1" or "0" for the desired behavior
       4. Click Set and then Close

But why would this be showing in the first place?

I've had this happen as well. Just close Sonar, turn off you MOTU, turn it back on and start Sonar again. It usually happens after Sonar has crashed.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

Except in my situation it does this EVERY time, even on a fresh boot.

I don't know, could be you have some hidden tracks or busses that are added while working or editing your projects that you're not aware of .

I get the "silent buses" error if I've just finished looking at a You Tube video or played an MP3, and am going back to Sonar.  I use Asio, which, even when you have the "share driver" option selected, does not allow two programs to use Asio at the same time.  The rest of the problem I chalk up to Windows - It often just takes time for the driver to shift from one app to another--So, when I go back to Sonar, there's no sound card/interface available, and the error message is "silent buses."  But it's no big deal - giving it a little time is all that's needed, and the Asio driver is re-claimed, and I'm good to go.
