    Hey Herb,
Now thats the way you"ROCK" Silent Night.  I can't put my finger on why, but this reminds me of the band POMPLAMOOSE. I think its the Hammond Organ.

Mix sounds good on my end. My only nit are the drums. The verb/delay used makes them sound like they are sitting way back in the mix. Like the only microphone used was a single room mic.  GREAT job on a Christmas Classic.

Nicely done, Herb.  kev mentioned Pomplamoose.  I love their stuff.  They did some car commercials last year.  You put some rock in this tune.  I never quite heard it this way but I'm glad I did now!

Great job Herb on this creative take of Silent Night!  My only issue is with the drums, feeling like they're a bit too far back into the mix.

That's a cool take on a classic Herb. Nice solo at 0:50, reminded me of Justin Hayward from the Moody Blues.

Luke, Bobby & James.... It was actually born out of a short...very short 15 second cue I sent to an ad agency listing with TAXI that got a forward.  I was kicking the idea around to make it longer but getting the female singer back in the studio was difficult at the time so I opted to go instrumental and did a complete re-do of the music.

    Thanks for listening.

Why didn't they play carols like this when I was a kid?! You would have thought the Swinging Sixties would have managed something more up-beat than the Salvation Army Band! If your future Christmas offerings are even half as good as this one, they will be outstanding. Rock on Christmas!

    Very cool.
Sweet tone on the guitars, and that organ lends a vibrant Gospel vibe.
I actually kind of like the way the drums sit back a bit, although the cymbal is a bit bright and dominant.
This is an interesting take on a song that is normally played very softly, and I quite like what you have done with it.

Oh that's good, the old SG sounds perfect on this Herb.

The bass is spot on too.

My only gripe is that it could have all gone on a bit longer for me!
