Similar feature as the "play list" in Pro Tools?

Hi guys!
 
I've been using Pro Tools a little bit in our school. It usually just makes me appreciate Sonar even more but there are couple of handy features I haven't found in Sonar. One of them is the play list (it's totally different function than the SPLAT play list). Does anyone know if there's a similar feature in SPLAT?

    I don't think so.  I will also add I don't see how useful that is. The comping in Sonar is faster and you don't need to go back and forth between the play list and the comping audio. I was thinking this feature was like an audio pool. There Sonar as such doesn't have one. The DAWs that do have a pool that I have I find myself ignoring it.

    Well comping is a bit different thing with a different purpose. It can accomplish basically the same thing but I don't like the mess it some times causes. This kind of thing:

     
     
    That compared to separate clean clips is sometimes a bummer (if you want to store different ideas). Especially when tracking multitrack drums or something else that has many tracks. Of course I can easily create new tracks but also creates more unnecessary stuff in the project.

    At some point in the past, I was trying to explore Protools since everybody seems to use it (all mixing videos). I had a good grip on Sonar's comping and all the related keyboard shortcuts. 
    So, while trying to learn protools, as soon as I got to the playlist part, I ran back to Sonar never to return to Protools again. IMHO Sonar's comping is so much better than Protools playlist. Only times comping didn't work for me was because i didn't know the right way of doing it 
    If you spend some time on comping videos, techniques and shortcuts, you won't be disappointed.

    Thanks for the input guys but comping and playlist are different tools (Pro Tools has both). I admit I haven't used the comping in Sonar excessively but I'm familiar with the basic functions. I did a bit of research on how to use it more efficiently and sure it's handy, but is it possible to switch takes for let's say ten tracks at once?
