Sine wave generator for kick drum?

I've been trying to figure out how to generate a low frequency sine wave in Sonar and I haven't had any luck. I know there are synths in Sonar but they all have a million knobs and I don't know what any of them do. How do I generate a simple sine wave?

http://www.kvraudio.com/f../viewtopic.php?t=226015 Well your right about the Soft Synths, they are a little more complexed so you'd have know what your doing to strip one down to it's root. But a quick google search brought me to KVR which I was going to recommend any how. They are my go to site for free VST's

Awesome thanks. Alright, next question: I notice there are a couple of gates in sonar that have a side chain option but I don't see one that will let me set the key-in to another channel. How do I do that?

You do that by routing the key source through an aux send. Insert a Send and you should see your gate on the dropdown list of possible destinations.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
