Six hours and no one complaining it's ruined their life yet!

I've been using it with no problem for about 3 hours and i'm feeling very confident in binning 8.53.
I have to say i'm very impressed with Cakewalk for doing this latest fix, it seems their very determined to get it nailed, and i think they may have!
I'll sleep well tonight.

Cheers
Steve.

I was faced with a choice at a difficult age
Would I write a book? Or should I take to the stage?
But in the back of my head I heard distant feet
Che Guevara and Debussy to a disco beat

    X1 is great.

I just hope those that have had problems give it another look. It really is a great new DAW.

(where's the thumbs up emoticon?)  The first thing I saw in that list was the Pro Channel being fixed!

I have a complaint: this has seriously dampened my appreciation for other DAWs. A month ago I was playing around with Studio One Artist and watching developments in Reaper-land with anticipation, considering moving in one of those directions. There are still a number of things I'm impressed with in both cases - particularly Reaper's minimalist/progressive business model, transparent/community-driven development model, and a few nice features both there and in S1 - but for the moment I have little more than a passing interest. Once Reaper goes to a 4.0 release I may have another look and might even buy a license so I can explore it a bit more (waiting until then so as to get a version 4/5 license, I have no interest in v3), but I now very much doubt either will be moving into pole position in the foreseeable future. I'm a happy X1 camper!

So there you go. Not much of a complaint, but the best I could come up with.
