You know, it's well done but once again with no video, vocal or lead instrument it's hard to place it in any landscape in my mind.  The music is beautiful .  The mix level seemed a bit "hot" in spots kinda like the keyboard was a bit distorted, but not much.  The music is beautiful

I agree with evadianepug about the mix level.  Seems a little strong to me.  You might benefit from having more dynamic range.  Maybe make some of the "softer" parts even softer.  I could see going way down at the 30 second mark and having the string line you wrote create a really strong build-up.

Great brass sound - what are you using?

Yeah I like the brass too. Totally would work for some interlude music on a PBS show. Is your forest anywhere near Downton Abbey?

I found myself focusing on the drummer's cadence, and I'm not sure I wanted to focus on that. From the listener's perspective, at least me anyway, I found it distracting from trying to follow the movement of the other elements. Drums like that usually infer that there's a battle upcoming or something military is going on, but the rest of your song brought very different imagery to my mind.

Oh, well, some forests have drummers, I guess!

    nice work, nice orchestration!

Superbly performed. Composition is truly outstanding (strong melodies throughout).

In my opinion, instrumentation-arrangements are a bit constant, particularly the piano (which is very beautiful) but too much of this throughout lessens the impact and diversity of changes in the composition -- you did hold off in some parts, though I felt it was not quite enough. Subtleties, sometimes even silence can be just a magical and have just as much impact as sudden peaks (ensemble attack).  As someone else mentioned, watch those peaks!

Your great talent would be ideal for music placement in films/movies. I wish you great success!
