am i missing something ??? where is the plug and demonstration..the more i look at Slate and his greazy approach to the audio public, the more he comes off as somebody that thinks he can sell you anything..these guys use this dialogue and lame skits, behind million dollar consoles and dont do sh*t...believe me if this cat had the winning ticket ... he would keep it for himself...

While I wouldn't be quite that harsh, I do agree that there's something amiss at Slate IMHO. I bought some of the products but I'm not thrilled with their testing nor their approach to the public. The the good news is there are many alternatives, and better ones. So it's their loss in the long run. It's good we have so many options these days. I also think it's good we speak out when companies need a bit of a wake up call.

The audio world is so full of smoke and mirrors, subjective hocus pocus etc. it must be the most difficult arena to devise and float an April Fool's joke!  Having said that, if someone had announced convolution reverb a few years ago on April Fool's day we'd have thought it too ridiculous to be funny!

I have the FG-X, even with the latest update its still a "little" buggy.
Perhaps this is why I deleted the email, without reading it.
Then after seeing the discussions on the forum I give the video a look.
I was not amused. I left when they where "rigging" to read the brain waves.
Maybe I'm just getting old and cranky?

I've had nothing but excellent results and customer service - often times directly from Steven. Been using his products since SSD2.0. Have everything except the harware - which also get rave reviews.

Why Slate felt compelled to make a dumb ass video is a tad lame,I really like SSD4 though[if I haven't already said that enough] The stupid Richard Simmons piss take,totally lowered my opinion of the guy[what year is this?] So bored.
