You guys talked me into buying this one. Of course, the audiodeluxe price surely helped; using their mastering 20% discount put the total price down to $99.99. Given FG-X's claim for transparency, it should be a good tool to use as BAPU does and who wrote above: "I would export the "mix" into a separate project and "master" it there using FG-X (and any additional mastering plugs you choose to use; i.e. EQ, stereoizer)."
My thoughts are to use use TRacks and OZone for some pre-mastering to give the EQ minor coloration or fine adjustments which their tools do so well. Then (as Bapu does) I can export the project to wave, open in Sonar and use FG-X for final mastering stage. Does this sound reasonable?
