Slate VMR Update to 1.6.4.1

Dear Slate Customers,

 

I’m happy to say that for the past two years, we’ve had a series of very successful product launches which have proven to be stable and efficient for a majority of our customers. This is due to the talents of our developers and excellent beta team.

 

And that’s why it is so unfortunate to report that our last release of our updated Virtual Mix Rack that included our free Monster Extreme Dynamic Processor had caused some issues with a few users. Some of these issues were created due to the fact that so many users downloaded Monster simultaneously, that it caused problems with the iLok system. And then furthermore, there also appears to be an issue caused by a new feature we added to the Virtual Mix Rack that helps make the first instance load faster.

 

So.. we went right into action and formulated a plan to get things back on track. The issues with iLok and Gobbler that are affecting some of our users in regards to licensing is being addressed as I type this, and we will have a fix very soon. But the issues with VMR itself have been fixed, and therefore we’d like you all to download this VMR update which includes the free Monster:

Remember, when installing this VMR update, it is required that you overwrite all previous VMR modules by doing a full installation. Remember, if you have an older version of VMR creeping in a secondary plugin folder, it will cause a ‘version mismatch’, so make sure to completely replace it in all plugin folders.

Having said that, the good news is that the reaction to our free Monster Extreme Dynamic Processor has been overwhelmingly positive, with many users claiming it to be the best free plugin ever!
