Smart Tool Cursor Behavior

Hi,
I haven't updated SPLAT since this very last update came out, but since the update before that...
I've noticed the cursor when using Smart Tool mode doesn't change it's appearance when I hover over the timeline to grab markers and loop points and such. 😕
It's rather annoying.
If I click around within the bar, I can get the cursor to change to the M-L for Marker or whatever, but it does not instantly change on its own by hovering over a marker flag like it uses to
Edit:
Come to think of it, when I edit the length of a clip for instance, then move the cursor over to the track control area, the Smart Tool cursor shows a (clip length?) cursor as I move it over the track control items (Solo, Mute, Inputs etc.) for a few moments until I click on something. Then it changes back to whatever it should be.

Anyone know anything about this?
