I gave up on X1 and went back to 8.5. It was just too frustrating.
After less than 5 minutes (when I was done tracking), I was editing and it felt like I was visiting an old friend, no crashes, nothing turning on and off by itself ... etc. I've been working on a 32 track project for 2 solid weeks, not one crash, hiccup, lockup, error message, reboot required, nothing. It just worked and after a few minutes I remembered where all the shortcuts where.
Maybe I'm getting old, don't like change, doctors orders to lower my blood pressure ... I dunno, I just can't do it anymore with X1. I lost 10 pounds the last two weeks since I switched back to 8.5. 8.5 as a dietary suppliment? Who knows, could be! If I'm less stressed I eat less. LOL
Looks like I'll be with 8.5 for 10 years like I was with 4.0.
I don't see how X2 can resurrect what they had with 8.5 so I seriously doubt I'll even consider it.
