Smart Tool Toggle Feature I Didn't Know About

Maybe everyone else knows this and I'm just late to the party, but when using function keys (F5 - F10) to select tools, the Smart tool toggles between it and the last tool you selected. For example, if you type F5 for the Smart tool, then F7 for the Move tool, now F5 will toggle between the Smart tool and the Move tool.

Didn't even know the 'F' keys selected tools at all! Way beyond cool! Keystrokes over mouse clicks any day! Thanks for the tip Craig!

Yes, that's a very handy feature. Another one is that you can press and hold a function key to temporarily use a different tool. Then when you let go of the key, SONAR automatically switches back to the previous tool you were using.

Believe it or not I actually knew this one quite a while ago. It is indeed very useful if you are doing a repetitive task. I haven't used it for a while but it's a life saver when doing heavy audiosnap or PRV editing. Sometimes you just want to bloody well MOVE something with out the Smart Tool trying to do a million different things due to hotspots. Toggle, do your thing, bingo bango it's done and you can get back to the ST.
