Snap Resolution is A.I. What am I doing wrong?

I will turn the snap to time ON and select a measure reoslution, go to select, move a clip and find that the resoltuion changes to 1/4 or 1/32.  I have to go up and change to measure.  I thought that onve a resolutioin was selected, it stayed that way no matter what until I (not SONAR) changed the resolution.  What gives?

A process can not be understood by stopping it. One must flow with it and become one.

Do you have Smart Grid active? Turned on and off by right clicking (or left click and hold) on the resolution drop down. Uncheck it if it is active. When checked the resolution adjusts to zoom level, which is great sometimes and not at other times.
