Snap settings in PRV

My snap settings do not seem to be working in PRV.  I copy data then attempt to line up my now time to the approprate place to paste the data. but the now time behaves as if snap is off.  It will jump to exactly where I click, and not where my snap is set to. It is time consuming to zoom way in and manually line everything up.

What am I missing?

Check that box in the upper right hand corner of the PRV that looks like a grid. Had the same problem until I clicked it.

Yep, the PRV has its own snap settings now. You use that grid icon to turn it on/off and to set the snap resolution, etc. However, it follows the on/off status of the global snap. So if you turn the global snap off, PRV snap will turn off too. You'll see it get grayed out.

I've seen this mentioned a few times now. I think there must be some sort of obscure bug at work.

Yes the PRV has its own snap settings but if it is off, and global snap is on, the PRV should follow the global snap setting.

The PRV is an "override" additional snap not the only option.

That's how it works here anyway.
