Snapping in piano roll

I know this should be really simple, but notes snapping in piano roll will just not work properly in Sonar x1. Had no problem in 2 versions of music creator, Sonar 7, and Sonar 8. Now I can't get snap to work properly to save my life. I am so frustrated with this one little thing and trying to figure out why it will not work that I would like to dump x1 and go back to 8.

First and most obvious make sure snap is turned on globally, then if you have a different snap set in the PRV make sure it's turned on there (top right of PRV).

I'm guessing though it's the good 'ol magnetic strength setting that's doing it. Preferences-->Customisation-->Snap & Nudge.

For full strength snap it needs to be turned off, or at least on high. --- Don't ask.

FastBikerBoy is right. I battled with that in the PRV for awhile until I figured it out. Anytime I work with editing MIDI notes now, that's the first thing I do - turn off the magnetic strength. Then the notes do what they're suppose to do.

Damn, I never even saw the snap settings in the PRV. Thanks, that did the trick. I knew it would be ridiculously simple.
