Thanks for sharing the background on this project Mike.

I'm reminded of a recent two man project done (99.78955% ***) in SONAR X1 with primarily PC plugs.

****the wanker bass player used one UAD plug on the bass track.

    Just sayin...
WOW Mike just using the included plug-ins?

You must have been the first to have thought of that, although I must admit that I bought Producer because of the extra plug-ins included and use them regularly.

I'm sure there is a point you are making here though that is way beyond anything a mere mortal could understand.
    Well done.

+1. The LINK I provided was to show where to post such projects. Hence, I promoted the Songs Forum in a gentle way. It's just the kind of guy I am.

What do you expect with no varispeed.

Dulcimers were designed for varispeed, you can't play one properly without it.

The opening lines the male singer has a lot to be desired for....most of his vox are not really good ...

The drummer not to good either

The Tom fills are sitting dry in the mix

The rest of the mix is good as far as that goes ...and I could believe that the plugs in sonar were used for this song .becuase nothing is wrong with sonar plug ins ... They are better than anything I though I could afford 25 years ago and better than what Motown had at hitsville in Detroit

Band is not  that impressive and the song is worse than the band plays...However the song is good for night time nap music I suppose ...if you want a stron point here that's it

The mix is good except the dry Tom

Good mix job mike .... But how did you stay awake through this sleepy song ?
