As the last one to comment on many threads myself, I'd have to say that occasionally--yes, you killed the topic. But those are a small percentage of the threads. Sometimes we just write something that either answers the OP or it's just something that no one has a response to.
Most of threads just run out of steam and that's nobody's and everybody's fault. So, don't take that as a sign that you're killing anything.
