So is Cakewalk done for good

I just got this notification that Cakewalk is ceasing some operations and product development. Apparently they are owned by Gibson, who is in deep financial trouble. So what does this mean for us who have been using Sonor? Should we switch over to some other software? Or is this just a temporary lull in the action?

Have you tried reading any other threads or stickies before posting your thread?

Splat, Win 10 64bit and all sorts of musical odds and sods collected over the years, but still missing a lot of my old analogue stuff I sold off years ago.

Cakewalk is ceasing operations? They are owned by Gibson? What a time to be alive!
