I kicked many goals(conversions/field goals) in my younger days playing football (Rugby League for those who aren't Aussie, or I guess English, French and all those other Nations that play the sport) I once kicked a short lob over the oppositions head while running towards the uprights, as luck would have it the ball hit the cross bar (Goal posts are basically a large H, with the top extending much higher) and as I was passing under the crossbar it fell cracking my skull (which could explain a lot) much blood, stitches and pain followed.

I am guessing the next thing I kick is more than likely to be the bucket.

Hmm...

maybe I do have some wisdom to impart to the younger generation of musicoligists...

When you get so frustratrated you want to smash your instruments it is time to remove yourself from the room where said instruments exist.

The anger is good. You will think on it, drink on it, [REDACTED] on it, sleep on it... and so forth. Then return the next day (or few days, or week or whatever) and things will go better.

If you freak out and smash all your gear...

ya... then instead of just being able to get back to work after you calm down you gotta go out and replace all your gear.

Don't abuse your gear out of hate.

Unless you do it on stage. Then you are kind of awesome.

Unless of course you destroyed all the gear you have and can't play the next booked gig before being able to replace it... in which case... that's also pretty dumb.

Serious?  Well, I kicked both types of footballs (American football and soccer balls).

Or were you trying to imply kicking habits?  Never done that.

Yeah, I figured you weren't THAT kind of jerk. lol

I am kind to all living creatures... until they start trying to [REDACTED] with me. Then it's law of the jungle 'neyotches.

Fortunately most animals either like me, are indifferent to me or kind of weirded out by me and keep their distance.
