Soft Synth lock up with Sonar 8.5

When triggering Sonar's soft synths with my keyboard controller, notes hit with high velocity will lock up synth. Seems to happen with certian Sonar synths only (Session Drum3,Session Drum2, True Piano)  Anyone else run across this?
