Soft synth property window always on top problem

Setting up Sonar Producer 8.5.3 on a laptop running Win7 x64 to use at rehearsals, I'm having an annoying problem with soft synth property windows being "always on top."  I've installed Native Instruments' Kontakt 3 and Elektrik Piano and all the updates from NI.  Problem happened when Kontakt wanted to pop up an error dialog box with an "OK" button.  On the little laptop display, the error dialog comes up hidden behind the soft synth property page. Can't minimize or move the property page because the error dialog is open, and can't close the error dialog because the property page is in front of it.  Isn't there a setting in Sonar to change the properties of the soft synth properties pages such that they're not always on top?  I searched and searched, but couldn't find it.

    Are you using the 64bit version of Sonar, if so this will be happening if you are using 32 bit VSTs. If such a thing exists install a 64 bit version of Kontakt and the problem will go away, I think however the first 64 of Kontakt was 3.5 ??????

    If you cant use 64 bit plugins and the "always on top" really gets you down using JBridge instead of Sonar's native bit bridge should overcome the problem.

    if you're using 64bit 8.5, make sure you're selecting the 64bit version of Kontakt, not the 32bit version and that won't happen.
