Softsyth Bass Part Has Disappeared...Help!

Hello.
I am stumped.  I have recorded a MIDI bass part using SI-Bass Guitar softsynth.  I froze the bass syth at one point and then unfroze it.  The track now is blank in that I see no MIDI or audio notations (wav forms or MIDI notes on the track at all.  I can hear the bass part, but I can't see it.  I did try selecting the track and went to staff view and I can see and hear the notes as the bass part plays.  How can I get the wav or MIDI notations to reappear in the track view?  I must have deleted something I should not have.  Since the bass part appears to still be there, it must be hidden in some way.

    Start by right-clicking the note-number/keyboard scale at the beginning of the track, and choosing Fit Content. You may have scaled it in such a way that the notes are outside the range you're showing.

    Do you see a clip with no notes in it, or no clip? What if you change the Edit Filter to Notes and back to Clips?


    EDIT: Or try splitting the Simple Instrument track to separate MIDI and Audio.

    it isn't by some chance hidden by track manager is it?

    Thanks for the help guys!  The bass track is there, it's just empty.  When I changed the Edit Filter to notes from clips,  I now see a display in the track that looks like it would in the PRV.  Does that tell us anything?  If I click back to clips in the Edit Filter nothing changes.  I tried the Split Track command and another track is created, but there is nothing in it.

    I just clicked Freeze on the bass track and X1 created an audio track with the wave forms in it as it should.  I thank everyone for their help!
