Softtube Saturation Knob Update (2016.9) Crashes SONAR Hard):

This is after updating the pre-release for 2016.9 to the most recent version:
1.  Inserted Saturation Knob on the Master Bus
2.  Tried all 3 options on the "Neutral" button, turning the Saturation know on each.
3.  Right-clicked on the module, selected Remove, and...CRASH.

I haven't had to send a mini-dump file to CW before so I'll look for that link.  But I see that some members are having crash issues with the Softtube Console, and just wanted to add this info re: Softtube.

EDIT:  I can't seem to find the link to send a mini-dump file to CW -- help?

Thanks,

Not sure what the issue is, but I just tried it on my underpowered laptop and I can remove it from the Master buss cleanly, i.e. without error

    Noel:

Thanks for the link.  Could you alert whoever looks into this (CWBNR-54605) that I includeed "reproducible" only because I didn't make an effort to try to recreate the crash and that is not an option.  Hopefully the mini-dump file is helpful.

Anything suspicious. I reproduced exactly what you described and everything is working normally.

I haven't been in the studio much since the event happened.  I'll to reproduce in the same project (which might be one last saved in a prior version of Sonar, possibly pre-X-series <g>).   CW has the mini-dump file and can see if there is anything suspicious there.

Don't know is this helps but since the issues I had with console 1 I have been checking versions of all softube products:
    2.2.84.0 appears in c:/program files/cakewalk/shared utilities/internal/Saturation Knob.dll
    2.3.76.0 (softube current version) appears in c:/program files/cakewalk/vstplugins/Softube/Saturation Knob.dll &
    c:/program files/common files/vst3/Saturation Knob.vst3

On my backup PC that is at the same software level in theory I have
    1.3.8.0 appears in c:/program files/cakewalk/shared utilities/internal/Saturation Knob.dll
    2.3.76.0 (softube current version) appears in c:/program files/cakewalk/vstplugins/Softube/Saturation Knob.dll &
    c:/program files/common files/vst3/Saturation Knob.vst3

So there is something not right as I assume 2.2.84.0 is the Sonar pro channel one?
