Important to mention - I don't think you have to have a Facebook account (there's an option to sign in w/ your FB account). But you can also just provide them w/ a valid e-mail address.

If you follow the link to Facebook given above, you should see a bank field to enter your e-mail address, w/ an option to sign in via FB account just above it. I'm already signed in, but you should see a box which you can simply leave uncheck where my FB pic is.

As a rule...I NEVER do FB contests.....but I had to do this one...as LP says...it's Softube
Dare I ask - why not? In the last month alone, I've won a DBX compressor, a Steinberg controller and a Lexicon Reverb. But then again - Nevermind, the less people participate, the more chances I have. ;)

I dont see the Like button when I access that contest FB page, I see a huge arrow telling me to click like to enter, but no like, it doesnt like me NEVER MIND, I had to like the main page first, then click on the contest link DOHHH

Rain, Mostly because they ask to access your personal information. Not that I'm opposed to that, I just think they ALL are getting WAY to "invasive" There has to be a reason for that. I have nothing to hide...my life is an open book...but I'd prefer to let those whom I CHOOSE read it - LOL It's not a big deal...I just prefer not to. I REALLY wanted to enter the Waves Signature Giveway...bud didn't.

I just figured out you meant the ones that use "apps" to sign in. I very rarely do those either. In fact, I think Waves and Softube are the only one I allowed myself to.
Most of the stuff I've won simply required you to comment on a post/answer a question.
In which case it's simply a matter of "liking" the company/store/manufacturer.
For example, DBX and Lexicon are managed by the same guy. They're giving away stuff all the time. I won the hardware compressor AND the MPX reverb the same day, answering the same question on both pages. :P

WOW...both in one day....very nice....gotta luv that... Yes...I'm the same...as long as they are not apps...I'm more then happy to enter... as a matter of fact...this Softube contest is the very FIRST I've done...its Softube...I have to...LOL (I said the same thing about Waves, but talked myself out of it)
