Software / Firmware update order?

Greetings from Denver!
 
I'm finally getting around to updating all the Cakewalk software and firmware.  I downloaded (but have not yet installed) X1c, but I'm still on 1.1 of the VS firmware, USB drivers, Fantom firmware.
 
I just wanted to check with those of you who have already done this.
 
Assume I update the VS firmware first, then the VS USB drivers, then install X1.
 
Right?
 
Any land mines I should watch out for?

    I did this about a week ago.

    Doesn't really matter when you install X1.

    The main thing is to follow the instructions on the website to the absolute letter. Nothing you have to do is difficult, but it's a painstaking, step by step, precise process.

    Took me about an hour and a half all in, making sure I double checked everything.
