Software shaker

Does anyone know of a rhythm plug-in with a shaker? I'm using Sonar Professional with SD2 and AD2 (studio pop kit)
There is a plug-in called shaker-maker but it is for 32 bit systems. I'm using win 7 64-bit.
I wondered if it's possible to add a shaker sound to SD2? The percussion adpak for AD2 doesn't have a shaker btw.

Cheers.

I haven't tried this Shaker Maker, but it's free for the shaking: http://freevstplugins1.blogspot.com/p/percussions.html

    * Please note: Shaker Maker is a VST Effect and not an instrument. You should open it as an effect on an audio track with rhythmic content on it!

    How to use Shaker Maker?
Then load a drum loop or any other rhythmic audio file to this track. You can also connect a microphone and use your own voice as the source for your shaker rhythm. Finally choose one of the 16 prepared shaker sounds, or shape your own shaker!

For scetching an idea I used a shaker in TTS-1 at some time.

But having a plastic bag of shakers, they can sound very different just by the way you hold them.
Just record two bars or something, and repeat.

    A few ideas...

It is possible to add any wav, aiff or ogg file to Session Drummer 2. The cakewalk-dlots1kit-percussion.sfz, cakewalk-dlots2kit-percussion.sfz and SonicReality_Percussion.sfz in SD2 Kits "10 - Percussion" contain maraca samples. SonicReality_Percussion.sfz also has Cabasa samples.

DPro has a Cabasa, Eggs and Rainstick in "06 - Percussion"

If you have Jamstix with the Jamcussion addon, there's a great shaker in that.

Orange Tree Samples gave away an excellent shaker/tambourine freebie called Delphi Shakers a couple months ago. It's got a lookahead feature that allows for "preroll" samples (samples that contain lead-in audio prior to the transient), greatly increasing the realism. Here's a video of it being demo'ed in SONAR X3:

Sonar's Metronome has a shaker sound, you can run it through a bus to control level, ad fx etc. I've used it a few times.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

I tried the TSS-1 plug in as suggested by IFM and it's fine for what I need atm. I was trying to get that Steely Dan "Do it again" rhythm for a project.

    Cheers!
