Soliciting opinions on a version upgrade

I have X1 Producer right and just record for my own enjoyment. I play pedal steel and guitar and use synths for bass, drums, keys, and experiment with strings and winds. I may add some vocals, but do not need them at a superior level. I use eq, a compressor, reverb, and delay. I'm considering upgrading mostly to stay on a current platform. I'm thinking of upgrading to professional as opposed to platinum to spend less, but would like opinions from you folks about that. Does anyone see a significant reason for a hobbyist like me to go to Platinum ?

Thanks Dave. It looked to me like the vocal alignment tool was a significant difference.
