Found this in the Reference Manual !
There are several situations where soloing one track actually solos more than one track, even when Exclusive
solo mode is enabled:
If you solo a track folder, all tracks within the folder are soloed.
If you solo a track that is assigned to a soft synth, all other tracks that are assigned to the same soft synth are
also soloed.
If you solo a track or bus that belongs to a Quick Group, all other tracks or buses are also soloed.
I have done some testing and noticed a Possible WorkAround !
1) If you click one of the kontakt5 (Primary tracks / Solo buttons ) it will then solo that Primary track + it will also solo all midi tracks assigned to that instance of Kontakt 5.
But wait there's more !
2) If you solo 1 x midi tracks assigned to that instance of Kontakt 5 it will solo that midi track + it will also solo all primary tracks assigned to that instance of Kontakt 5 . ( exactly the opposite ) How weird but beautiful !
Well then i guess you just click the Kontakt 5 Primary track you want to Solo and even though all of that instance of Kontakt 5 's assigned midi tracks will also solo the are effectively muted because there primary tracks are not, the only Kontakt5 Primary track that soloed was the one you clicked .
Though you can see how confusing it would be if you do step 2) = impossible
Handy to know i guess when its time to Freeze or Disconnect Kontakt 5 after they bounce down !
Oh yes you could just manually mute each Kontakt5 primary track .
