Soloing Acting Strange (Not turning off correctly)

It seems that most of the time now (maybe 50% of the time) when I solo a track, if I turn the solo off it doesn't unsolo and no audio is heard.  To fix it I have to turn solo on and off again.  Has anyone else had this issue?  It seems to have only started to happen recently.

That is really strange and I've hardly a clue.  Has anything changed in your system setup or is this a new install?  How long has it been doing it, and has anything unusual happened lately?

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left...

The only thing that has changed is installing a few VSTs and a couple of VSTi's - I sure hope this isn't the cause because they are working correctly as far as I can tell without crashing.

I will see if this behaviour persists in my other projects other than the one I am currently working on.

This is an "old" install of Sonar which I upgraded to X1D right after it became available.

Just want to make sure your old install was "X1c" and not any of the other before because "d" has to be applied to "c" update only and  "c"  can not have any of the quickfixes applied to it.

Yes, the update to "d" was after "c" and I didn't have to uninstall any quickfixes as I had the correct version number according to the installation instructions.

This behaviour has just started recently - this install of "d" appeared to be working a-ok before this.

Is it happening in just one project or different projects.  You may have a currupted project.

I'll try a few other projects to see if this continues, would be a shame if this project was corrupt.

I always save two versions though, as I have had a few other projects corrupt on me, but it looks like both versions of the projet have this problem (as I interchange between loading them, perhaps I shouldn't do that).

Yah I hear ya I been burned the same way saveing currupted project files.  Then I would have to correct the project because the older versions were also currupted.

1st You'll need to  start as fresh project to make absolutly sure you don't have a project problem .

If you don't have a project problem then you are going to have to do a reinstall or disc image restore because you system is currupted.

If you do have a project problem then you will need to copy the contents of each track into a newly created Project.
You can save presests for plugins but I would not save track templates.

That would be the quickest way to correct a problem that popped up out of no where.
