[Solved] Add measures to the beginning of a project.

I'm trying to add a few measures to the beginning of a song.
I considered this mix done and then the client had an idea for an intro part with this new element continuing through the whole mix. 
I tried Select All/Process/ Slide. It moved everything as expected except all of the automation stayed in it's original place.(that's not gonna work)
I thought about doing Select all/ Cut /Paste but I'm afraid that somethings going to get lost in the move (markers?).
I currently have everything frozen that can be. Should I unfreeze everything before I move it?
