Wookiee CCC 1.1.2.4 seems to have resolved it for me.
+1, seems OK now.

Why have we got go through the fine detail to find these updates?? Go to support and you get the previous version, not the .24

Sorry for the headaches - it literally broke 7 days ago and we haven't fully tested an official fix. We're working to get the official fix public ASAP.

This fix worked for me . I fought for 2 days trying to get CCC to install Platinum and everything that came with it. Kept failing around 50%, then BSOD etc... was beside myself as this was on a fresh install of Win7 Ult. I was scared it would only work on Win10 but thankfully it worked on Win7 too. Much thanks guys!

Not sure if it's even relevant, but having installed the new version, AVG then detected the old .exe as corrupted.

Willy Jones [Cakewalk] Hi Everyone, We ran into something similar when we were testing some internal/api changes. It looks like a Win10 auto update may be the culprit. Ryan and I were both also on Win10/x64 when it happened to us. In any case - if you're experiencing this please try installing this build: http://static.cakewalk.com.s3.amazonaws.com/command-center/CakewalkCommandCenterSetup_1.1.2.4.exe If this resolves the issue for you please report back and let us know so we can get it up ASAP. Thanks and sorry for any headaches. Edit: to fix link
Thanks, Worked great! ; )

I just notied another update for windows 10 that was for the Flash player. Perhaps this corrects the original problem. I'm not using win10 on my daw or I would test it. Just thought I would point out this win10 update.

This fix is not working for me. Getting this error now: CakewalkStartScreen.exe An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file: DeleteFile failed; code 5. Access is denied. Click Retry to try again... And can not install or rollback. Sonar does not work now either...

It can mean CakewalkStartScreen.exe is running. Check the Windows task manager and kill the process or reboot before running the Command Center again.

Ack - sorry I forgot to update this thread last week. We have published a working version now, no need to use the version I linked. Just follow C3's update prompt.

This sounds like a different issue - did you have SONAR open when trying to install? If it was you'll want to close it. If not do scook's suggestion. It sounds like it may not have closed/exited.
