[Solved] Copy and, paste, paste, paste?
I have noticed lately, or for all I know its been forever, that in CbB, I cannot copy a piece of audio track from here, and paste it more than once. The paste buffer seems to clear after the first paste. Forcing me to go back and copy the data to paste again.

Have you tried the paste special option, Ctrl+Alt+V this gives you the option to paste clips repeatedly.

Hmm I don't see that. Can you be be more specific about the exact operations you are taking to paste.
I can copy a clip with ctrl-c and ctrl-v to paste it as many times as I want.

Me too. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I always use CTL-C/CTL-V rather than selecting "Copy" or "Paste" from a menu. More often, I just hold the CTL key down and drag the clip.
 All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to. My Stuff

K. I have a vocal track. It has a phrase from the end of the song that I thought would be good in 4 other parts as the hook. So I drag selected the phrase and went Ctrl-C. Then I went to the 1st chorus and went Ctrl-V and boom there it was. I auditioned my idea and yep that'll work. So I highlighted that pasted region in the 1st verse with intentions of pasting it in the second, the drop, and the 3rd verses. So with that little clip highlighted I did another ctrl-c then went to the second verse and pasted it. It pasted. I auditioned it and had to scooch it a bit to set it's timing right, then went to the drop clicked to set the now and typed ctrl-v........ nothing happened so I went back to the second verse to ctrl-c copy that source clip then back to the drop and ctrl-v. Now we pasted it. Knowing the paste buffer was empty now I Ctrl-c'ed the phrase in the drop before leaving to go to the 3rd verse where I pasted successfully.

That may be a safety measure in the program, I.e., the clipboard is cleared when you conduct another undo history operation (the scoot). Not sure, but if you accidentally hit ctrl-v instead of ctrl-c two hours later, you could inadvertently paste a now-forgotten clip into a potentially unseen location in the project.

Yeah. which is a good safety measure.
I figured I must be doing something wrong so I'll use CTL-C/CTL-V as other's have said.
